Swimming Gala Success

Amazing Swimming!

Today a small group of children took part in the very first swimming gala held at The Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre since before Covid. It was a fantastic atmosphere, lots of fun, amazing teamwork, some great swimming by all the children involved and even some fancy dance moves from the Saltergate Team including the adults!

The children that represented Saltergate did incredibly well especially when it is something they have not experienced before, they overcame some nerves and put in a great performance finishing in 5th place overall (out of 10), which is a fantastic achievement.

Well done to all the children involved, we are super proud of you all. A special thank you to our pool buddy Connie, she was fabulous and all our lovey parents and supporters who cheered the children on from the side line.
