If you would like your child to join our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.
In 2020, we were 10 places over the admission limit.
We have been oversubscribed for the last six out of seven years. We are proud to be making a positive impact in our community.
Our ethos is one of inclusive practice. Our highly skilled teachers and support staff will go the extra mile to ensure that your child is happy and settled. For our children with SEN or disabilities, we make sure that we work closely with you to fully understand your child. Every child is unique and should be respected as such. On entry, each situation is different and we look forward to forming a plan with you to ensure the smoothest of transitions.
Through our nurturing approach, children learn to respect each other and themselves. No child is disadvantaged or treated less favourably by others because our 'team' ethos and care for each other wouldn't allow it.
Thank you for looking at our school information regarding September 2021 entry.
Usually, you would phone the school for a personalised tour but things are different this year due to Covid. restrictions. We must keep the risk as low as possible. Therefore,
Access the online form to book a 1:1 meeting on our Reception Tour 2021 page.

Please do not feel that you have to do anything more in order to accept your school place. As far as we are concerned, all children on our allocations list have a place with us.
In the first few weeks we will send you some information regarding
A couple of important points for parents to consider:
Free school meals for all infant children from September 2014. You may have heard about universal free school meals. All children in the infant school will be eligible for a hot meal. The food is locally sourced and of a high quality. We currently serve more hot meals than packed lunches. Our meaningful lunchtime experience for children is one of our key priorities; it is a lovely experience for all children. We will send out menus before the end of this term so that you and your child can select their choice of food. A Packed lunch is the other dining option if children feel more comfortable with familiar foods.
Holidays in term time.
You may have heard about the changes (from September 2013) to taking holidays in term time. This isn’t acceptable anymore. There are a few exceptional circumstances to taking a child out of school. All family holidays are considered to be unauthorised and potentially, fines will be made by the local authority.
I think that is all for now. We are really looking forward to building partnerships and working with you.
We have a happy school. Our last visitor shared these lovely words,
“There is joy and laughter throughout the school”
Happiness is everything.
My Best Wishes,
