Saltergate Wish Pantry
Saltergate WISH Pantry
Our school’s WISH Pantry is an emergency use food and essentials pantry for our families experiencing a food crisis. It’s a quick and confidential way for families to get essential supplies when they need them most and is a place where information about other community services and support networks can be found.
Alternatively, you can visit our main office in our main entrance and ask for Mrs Wilson, our Wellbeing Lead, to contact you.
Our booking slots are confidential, non-judgemental, and low contact and are available during school term time.
You can also donate to our pantry! A basket is available in the main school entrance which is organised and sorted by our kind and helpful Mental Health Ambassadors.
If you feel able to, please donate:
- Tinned food, food preserved in jars (e.g. jam), boxes of cereal, pasta, rice: any food that is shelf stable and within int Best Before date
- Hygiene products – e.g. toothpaste, soap, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, baby wipes
Your generosity will make a big difference to families and with your help, we can build a caring, supportive community here at Saltergate.
