Mr Fleetwood Nominated for Award

Mr Fleetwood, from Potter Class in Y5, has been nominated for an award for going above and beyond the usual high standards we have for reading at Saltergate last year, to achieve excellence in his class and break numerous records.

He encouraged and promoted reading throughout the year, resulting in many pupils making fabulous progress and collectively reading over 22 million words!

This was over quadruple some of our other classes and after being nominated for an award to recognise his efforts and achievements; Mr Fleetwood has been shortlisted and invited to a special event held at London Bridge!
