Forest School

We are delighted to celebrate the launch of our new Forest School programme, an enriching, outdoor learning initiative that brings the curriculum to life through real-world exploration and nature-based discovery.

Delivered in partnership with Born of the Forest, our Forest School offers weekly sessions for Key Stage One pupils, with plans to roll it out across the entire school next year.

What is Forest School?

Forest School is a child-led, long-term approach to learning that takes place in natural settings. Recognised by the Forest School Association, it promotes holistic development by encouraging:

  • Supported risk-taking

  • Independence and confidence

  • Curiosity and creativity

  • Play-based exploration

Helping to develop a life long love of learning.
