Lunchtimes and Snack times
Lunch
Our Catering Contractor is Hutchison Catering who provide a range of tasty, nutritious, and healthy balanced meals for our children using fresh ingredients. We have a full experienced and professional Catering Team based on site each day.
Please see the menu below for the Autumn term. For now, the infant meal of the day will be the main option.
All children in Reception, Year one and Year two are entitled to a universal free school meal each day. As the children progress up to Year 3 meals are charged at £2.92 per day or £14.60 per week. Meals can be paid for via ParentPay. You will need a log-in which can be obtained from the school office.
This term, we have introduced flight trays in the Infant School. Children from Reception to Year 2 are being taught independence by being able to collect their food from the servery with the assistance from the Midday Supervisor Assistants and Catering Staff.
Year 3-Year 6 have a food option and will choose and collect their food themselves from the servery in the Junior School.
All children have the opportunity to join in with ‘special meals’ such as Christmas dinner and Easter lunch.
If you think your child is entitled to Free School Meals, please click here to visit the application form.
Dietary Requirements
If your child has any dietary requirements, please see the school office, and they will put you in touch with Laura Whiting, Nutrition & Food Development Manager at Hutchison Catering.
Snacks, Fruit and Milk in School
A carton of milk is available for all children until the child's 5th birthday. This is free of charge to you as a parent. Once your child is 5 years old, milk is available to purchase for a small fee payable at the beginning of each term through Cool Milk. Please see the attached letter here for more information.
Fruit is also available at snack times for all Reception to Year 2 students.
