Thank you so much for choosing to be part of Discovery Learning at Saltergate School in September. ​​My name is Mrs Jo Burgess, and I will be the lead teacher of Discovery Learning.  ​​We are really excited about starting this special learning journey with you.​

Your First Days

If you are joining us, we are really looking forward to your child joining Discovery Learning.

We have new students joining Discovery Learning at Saltergate each term and once your child's place is confirmed and the parental agreement is signed, we will be in touch to discuss settling in sessions.

We aim to welcome your child in for an hour on the first day without their grown up. We will then chat with you to decide how to go forward, if more settling in sessions are needed.
