Afterschool Clubs
EYFS
During the Spring and Summer Term, students in Reception Classes are able to stay after school for Finger Gym and Creative Club. The aim of these clubs is to support children’s handwriting skills. This will be done through various activities such as play dough disco, threading and building with Lego. The movements in the activities will develop fine and gross motor skills, hand eye coordination and self-esteem.

How to book
Letters and an online booking form are sent to all in the first week of term. To ensure that all children have the opportunity to attend a club, we ask that parents only apply for ONE after school club but also choose a second reserve choice. If you do not list a second choice, it is not guaranteed your child will be allocated a club.
Please note all clubs have limited spaces which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. There will also be a cut-off to apply for or change club for safeguarding reasons.
If your child cannot attend their after-school club, please inform the teacher in charge of the club by letter, in person or a phone call to the office. This is to help us ensure your child’s safety.
Please log into MCAS to confirm which clubs your child is registered to attend.
