    Absence

If your child is absent from school for any reason, please inform school by telephone straight away. The school staff will have to contact you if we have not heard from you about absence from school.

This may be by phone or text.

Holidays during term time will be counted as unauthorised absence unless there are exceptional circumstances. Holiday forms can be obtained from the school office.

      Safety Before and After School

Children will be welcomed into school at the appropriate start time. We cannot accept responsibility for children before the start of school. Parking is not permitted on the yellow lines or in the staff car park.

      Morning Break and Lunchtime

All children in reception, year one and year two are entitled to a free school meal each day. As the children progress up to year 3 and move over to the junior side of school meals are chargeable at £2.60 per day or £13.00 per week. Meals can be paid for via ParentPay. You will need a log-in which can be obtained from the school office.

During lunchtimes, reception-year 2 children are served their dinner by a grown up. Year 3-year 6 will choose and collect their food themselves from the servery with assistance from the Catering Staff and Midday Supervisory Assistants.

Children may either have school lunches or bring a packed lunch. School meals are taken in the school hall, as do the children with packed lunches. Children are supervised at lunchtime by our senior midday supervisors and our team of playworkers.

All children have the opportunity to join in with ‘special meals’ such as Christmas dinner and Easter lunch.

If your child has any dietary requirements, please see the school office and they will arrange a meeting with the school cook to discuss your needs.

Please see our Lunchtimes and Snacks page for more information.

      After School Activities

We have our own after school activities ran by our team. These sessions are free of charge.  Please see our Clubs page for more information.
