Bethany, a Year 3 student wrote this beautiful letter to Mrs Mortimer this week.
Bethany did her research on the author, found the books on amazon and chose three the class would like to purchase. We particularly loved the reasoning 'I think these books would be beneficial for Year 3 because we love a challenge and we are ready for another'.
These books will be ordered and delivered to the classroom shortly!
Thank you, Bethany, for a wonderful letter.

Money to a charity
Dear Mrs Mortimer,
On Friday, since its half term next week, can we please save money for St.Michael's hospice/Place2Be (Improving children's mental health in schools) and can we come to school in non-uniform. We hope you listen to us because people need money for charity so they can get better much more quickly and stay safe from covid, cancer and more diseases that can do harm.
We hope you agree with us that this is important.
Yours truly Eva,Lily,Grace and Tallulah.
So, on Friday 22nd October, we held a 'dress-down' day for a minimum donation of £1.
What a lovely end to the half term - thank you Year 6 girls for bringing this to my attention!
