Proposal to become an academy and join Red Kite Learning Trust

This page has been set up to provide important information regarding the proposal for both Saltergate Infant and Junior Schools to become academies and join Red Kite Learning Trust.

The consultation period will run from 29 February 2024 to 14 March 2024 inclusive and will involve parents, carers, staff, pupils, and the wider community.

As well as the documents available to download from this page, we would like to invite you to attend the following school meeting (held in the Infant School Hall) to learn more. 

Monday 4th March 2024 - 5pm

The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about academy status and its impact on schools. Representatives from the Governors, school leadership, and Red Kite Learning Trust will be present to answer any questions you may have.
