  • King Charles writes to Saltergate!

    We received something very special indeed this week... a letter from Buckingham Palace from His Majesty King Charles!

    Our Year 2 and Year 3 children (Y3 and Y4 children this year) sent congratulations letters to the King for his coronation, along with a photo of the crown shape we made on our playground (thanks to Mr Cliffe's drone for the photo).

    As you can imagine all of our students are so incredibly proud to have received this letter from our King. We showed all of our children in assembly this afternoon, and it will take pride of place within our memories and our school!

  • Year 2 Beach Day

    Year 2 had the most amazing Beach Day earlier this week! We had limbo, sand, water, games, biscuit decorating, hat making and so much more! What a fantastic end to their journey in our infant years before starting with us in September as juniors!

  • FOSS Total Fundraising

    Our AMAZING Friends of Saltergate School have raised an amazing £5982.23p for our school since they formed earlier this year.

    Our Summer Fair raised £4685 alone! 

    We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed, donated a prize or their time for our school.

  • Tag Rugby Festival

    All the children who attended the Tag Rugby Festival held at Harrogate Rugby had a wonderful time! The children were able to develop their own skills and confidence with the best coaches outside of our own school grounds.
    Throughout the festival, they made so much progress and showed great determination. Well done to all of them! Thank you to Aled at Harrogate Rugby for all that you do for us.

  • Harrogate Fire Crew come to visit

    We were so lucky to have a visit from some very brave firefighters today from Harrogate Fire Station. They came with their fire engine and our EYFS students had a fantastic time investigating the hose, inside the cab and seeing all the equipment and protective clothing needed to fight fires.

    We have been learning about 'People who help us' at school, so this was absolutely amazing!
